FREE ONLINE WORKSHOP
Hosted by Shalon Ironroad, Virtual Assistant and Business Consultant
The workshop has ended, but we'd still love to share it with you!
Thanks to the miracle of technology, you can time-travel back and watch, just like if you were there in real-time. 🤓 🚀
Learn which industries are in need of help, what skills and tools you need to know before you get started, and services you can offer your clients.
Clients are everywhere, if you know what to watch for. I'll share my favorite strategies for finding people you love to work with.
Having your own business doesn't have to include sacrificing your sanity and the relationships that matter most. You'll learn how to use your business to strengthen your family, rather than strain it.
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about this workshop
How does an online workshop work?
This may be your first online workshop, so I'll give you a rundown just so you know what it'll be like.
We'll meet on Zoom (kind of like Skype or Google Hangouts) via a link I'll send after you register. When you click that link, you'll get to our "meeting room", where you'll see yours truly on the video screen. I'll then walk you through the workshop, and then do a Q&A session at the end.
How long is the workshop?
The workshop will be 1.5 hours, during which I am going to give you much information as I possibly can, taking you step-by-step through the process of starting your own Virtual Assistant business.
Do I need to be on camera?
You don't have to talk (or even be on camera) during the workshop, so don't worry about getting all dressed up. Everyone will be on mute, and questions will come through the chat box -- so you can be hanging out in your "athleisure" and no one will ever know :)
What does it cost?
This one's on me. :) I watched a similar training when I first got started, and it really helped me understand what steps I needed to go through to actually make my business happen.
What if I can't make it?
The session will be recorded, so if you have something else planned, forget to change your daylight savings clocks, or something else comes up, I'll send the link to listen on your own schedule. #yaytechnology
If this sounds like something you'd like to attend, click the button below to register for the workshop and get the link (+ recording when it's all done) in your inbox.
I've been there. No worries; I recorded the workshop, and you're two steps away from accessing the replay.

If I can do it, you can.
In July of 2010, my husband was in law school, our son was 2 years old, and we had just moved to Grand Forks, ND. I had been working from home for another company in Utah, but my new location didn't allow for me to continue.
We were "starving students", and I needed to come up with some way to contribute financially, but when I looked into what it would cost to have our son in daycare while I went to an office job, the numbers just didn't add up.
I was blessed to discover the Virtual Assistant path, and I took a leap of faith and started my own business. Within 3 months, my client schedule was full and I was bringing in a healthy supplemental income for our family, while using the skills and experience I had previously developed.
I was introduced to this industry with the help of a friend, and I want to be that friend for you.
I'm excited to share more about what I've learned, and teach you how to start a Virtual Assistant business of your own.
